A nice fall morning --

After I sent my son off to school, I met with one of our clients and the representative for AEP at the Oak Hill Farm Property.  The client is getting an estimated cost for extension of underground power to his proposed new home... a very exciting time for him and his family!

I think he was happy that I was there.  We routinely work with these agents to ensure the availability of power on each of the properties we sell, and we want those who purchase from us to feel comfortable about the process, and have the right expectations. 

We tromped around on the grounds to where the reserved rights-of-way were located, and the client told the agent of his plans for building and his desired building location(s).  The agent assured him of the steps he needed to take, and how to best satisfy his utility needs.  He reviewed the surveying that he would do related to the job, how the costs were determined, and it seemed they would be minimal.

The meeting meant one more thing marked off the checklist for our client in his journey to build his new home, and one more unknown now answered.

We went off to other projects, but it was nice to be there for my "neighbor" and to catch up with the AEP rep related to other "goings on" as well.
